On this Giving Tuesday, in addition to your monetary donations, how about giving a priceless gift to your team?
Be present.
Presence costs nothing, and it seems simple…simple but hard. It’s hard because of competing work demands including emails, calls, or prep for your next meeting.
Your team needs to know you care. They need to feel heard. They need to feel that their contributions truly matter.
This week, try a small shift:
✔️ Ask one more question before giving direction
✔️ Focus fully on the person in front of you
✔️ Listen for what matters to them
